      陈化兰,女,1969年生,甘肃省白银市人,博士,研究员,博士生导师,动物传染病及预防兽医学专家。中国农业科学院兽医兽药学科“一级岗位杰出人才”。任世界动物卫生组织(OIE)生物标准委员会委员,OIE/国际粮农组织(FAO)禽流感专业委员会执行委员,OIE禽流感专家。中国农业科学院哈尔滨兽医研究所农业部动物流感重点开放实验室主任,国家禽流感参考实验室主任,OIE禽流感参考实验室主任。

学习经历

     1987-1991年,就读于甘肃农业大学兽医系,获学士学位;
     1991-1994年,就读于甘肃农业大学兽医系兽医病理专业,获硕士学位;
     1994-1997年,就读于中国农业科学院研究生院传染病与预防兽医学专业,获博士学位;
     1999-2002年,美国疾病控制中心(CDC)流感分中心进行禽流感合作研究,博士后。

工作经历

     1997-1999,中国农业科学院哈尔滨兽医研究所助理研究员;
     2002-今,中国农业科学院哈尔滨兽医研究所研究员,农业部动物流感重点开放实验室主任,国家禽流感参考实验室主任、研究员;
     2008-今,OIE禽流感参考实验室主任。

陈化兰陈化兰

     为禽流感病毒跨种属感染及其致病性的分子遗传与分子致病机制。她是我国最早禽流感病毒(AIV)基因工程疫苗分子诊断及分子流行病学的研究者之一。她主持的农业部动物流感重点开放实验室是如今国内唯一有权对禽流感病毒进行最终病毒分离鉴定的研究机构,也是世界卫生组织全球动物流感监测网点实验室之一。该实验室分离鉴定了我国流行的禽流感病毒400多株,并建立了我国特有的禽流感病毒毒株及其信息资源库,所研制的禽流感诊断试剂和疫苗已在全国范围大面积推广、应用,创造了巨大的社会效益和经济效益。

科研项目

      她主持国家禽流感参考实验室,系统开展了我国禽流感流行病学监测和研究工作,取得了一系列重大进展和创造性研究成果,初步阐明有关禽流感病毒的分子遗传、抗原变异及致病性演化规律,为疫情的预警预报、防制策略、诊断试剂及疫苗研制与使用提供了全面的科学依据。在防制禽流感期间,迅速准确确诊来自全国各地的大量样品,对疫情的及时有效控制起到了关键作用,她主持研制的有关禽流感灭活疫苗已累计推广应用60亿羽份以上,为防控禽流感疫情作出了重大贡献。
      主持国家禽流感参考实验室在动物流感尤其是禽流感的流行病学、诊断技术、新型疫苗研制、分子演变及分子致病机制等方面取得了一系列重大进展和创造性研究成果,研制成功了H5 亚型禽流感灭活疫苗和新型“禽流感、新城疫重组二联活疫苗”,代表了禽流感疫苗研制的国际先进水平和发展趋势,推广应用后,极大地提高了我国乃至世界防控禽流感的能力,具有十分重要的社会经济及公共卫生意义。

科研成就

     1994年以来,一直从事禽流感及猪流感相关基础研究和应用研究。国家杰出青年基金获得者,“973”项目首席科学家。先后主持国家“攻关”、“863”、“973”、国家自然科学基金等科研项目20多项;在国际重要学术杂志发表禽流感研究相关SCI论文50多篇;已获得6个禽流感疫苗新兽药证书,其中3个为基因工程疫苗;获得7项国家发明专利。主持完成成果“H5亚型禽流感灭活疫苗研制及其应用”获得2005年国家科技进步一等奖;主持完成成果“重组禽流感、新城疫二联活疫苗”获得2007年国家技术发明二等奖。主持研发的各种禽流感疫苗在国内外推广应用700多亿羽份。
      2013年4月,陈化兰和她的科研团队发现,在中国导致人感染的新型H7N9流感病毒,与同一时期存在于活禽市场上的H7N9禽流感病毒高度同源,在国际上首次从病原学角度揭示了新型H7N9流感病毒的来源,为中国科学防控H7N9禽流感提供了重要依据。5月,她们又发现H5N1病毒确有可能通过与人流感病毒的基因重配,获得在哺乳动物之间高效空气传播的能力,从而具备引起人间大流行的潜力,从全新的角度揭示了H5N1病毒对全球公共卫生构成的现实威胁。7月,她和科研人员研究发现,H7N9病毒对禽类无致病力,但该病毒侵入人体发生突变后,对哺乳动物的致病力与水平传播能力得到明显增强,从而揭示了H7N9病毒存在较大人间大流行的风险。这些成果先后发表在《科学通报》英文版及《科学(SCIENCE)》杂志上[1]  。
      2015年,由来自国际科学界的13名著名科学家组成的独立国际评委会,从超过2600名杰出女科学家提名人选中遴选出5位2016年联合国教科文组织-欧莱雅“世界杰出女科学家成就奖”获得者。陈化兰因“在禽流感生物学领域的杰出研究,流感有效疫苗开发及应用方面的领先成果”而获选。
      “世界杰出女科学家成就奖”由联合国教科文组织和法国欧莱雅集团于1998年共同创立,旨在表彰女科学家的杰出成就,对她们所做出的卓越贡献给予充分的认可,并为其科研事业提供支持。该奖项每年在5个代表区域(欧洲、北美洲、非洲及阿拉伯国家、亚洲及太平洋地区、拉丁美洲)各选出1名女科学家进行奖励。至今,中国(包括中国香港在内)共有5位女科学院家获得该奖项。
      获得2016年该奖项的5位科学家将于2016年3月24日在巴黎的索邦大学接受每人10万欧元的奖励,以表彰她们在科学领域的贡献。

    英国《自然》杂志网站18日公布了该刊评出的2013年度全球科学界十大人物,中国禽流感专家陈化兰等人因在各自领域作出突出贡献而当选。
    2013年12月19日出版的《自然(Nature)》杂志评选出2013年年度十大科学人物,陈化兰研究员因禽流感病毒研究方面的卓越成绩而榜上有名 。
    2015年10月2日联合国教科文组织公布了2016年生命科学领域的5位“世界杰出女科学家成就奖”获得者名单,陈化兰研究员作为亚洲及太平洋地区的杰出代表获此殊荣。
    2016年6月2日,陈化兰荣获首届“全国杰出科技人才”奖。
